In my house, I use air filtration machines that emit negative ions. I don't know if it is the filtration, or the negative ions, (I suspect that it is both), but the air is fresher and crisper. I no longer have the sinusitis that I have had for years from fibromyalgia, and my allergies don't bother me any more, either. I have one in the bedroom and family room. I notice that I don't wake up at night with a stuffy nose, either. I also have not had asthma problems since I began using them. After reading your second article, I will be getting one for the computer room, also. Thanks for the information. The walls turned absolutely black around the machine, with it collecting so much junk from the air. I got rid of the machine, and kicked my husband out (well, at least when he smoked) – so I am assuming that maybe the newer machines work better than this one that I had. I as assuming the that filters collect all of the gunk. It does not give off the harmful type of ozone, either. It just leaves the air crisp and clear.
