Guest guest
Hello- Anyone interested in this disease might want to join the Lyme-and-Rife or Lymestrategies . Both of these groups have discussed Morgellons, and as one of the articles in the email below indicates, it might be related to Lyme. Another very interesting web site is http://www.lymephotos.com. These folks developed a Lyme treatment (which also seems to work with many/most gram negative bacteria as well as parasites and other things) that includes a particular type of sodium chloride taken with vitamin C. I’ve had Lyme for 18 years and have tried many different types of treatments, though not antibiotics. The “salt and vitamin C” treatment is the most powerful and effective treatment I’ve found. Many people who have tried this are getting amazing results. This one dispelled, for me, the myth that says “salt is bad.” Processed “table salt” that is heated and contains additives IS harmful, but pure, natural earth/sea salts and USP sodium chloride tablets are almost always quite beneficial. The salt/C protocol for Lyme disease was discussed in an article by Dr. Robert Bradford in the January 2005 issue of Townsend Letter for Doctors and Patients. (I’ll add the “salt is bad for you” myth to the others like “saturated fat is bad for you”—didn’t you ever wonder why saturated fat is bad when that’s the form of fat made by our own bodies?, aspartame isn’t harmful—don’t even get me started on this one, “sun exposure causes cancer”—check this one out on Mercola.com, I could go on and on and I bet you could too.) In any case, check out “lymephotos.” The site contains dozens of amazing photos of Lyme bacteria in many stages as well as some “mystery” parasites that seem to be related to Lyme. Very interesting. . . As far as Lyme is concerned, it can be the underlying cause of almost any disease, physical and mental, perhaps with the exception of cancer. Lyme toxins can have a harmful effect on most body tissues and can be the underlying cause of such diseases as chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, various other neurological problems, many other physiological diseases as well as almost every mental health disease described in the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders). Despite what is said by the majority of health professionals and health authorities, Lyme is very widespread and is called an epidemic by some doctors. It occurs is every state and some say it is transmitted by several more means than just ticks.
