Guest guest
I think because the bacteria in it will mess with the bacterial balance you are trying to achieve with the cabbage. Where in Idaho? I am 3 miles south of Naples....well...er.... right now I am down in the Sierras. Is it still darker than heck, drizzling and grey up there? I have loved being down here at the higher elevatons with lots of snow and lots of sun..... ~inga =========== on 2/5/05 10:17 PM, graftedin at graftedin wrote: Hey I live in northern Idaho and we have excellent well water. This will help get rid of your stomach problems . I just started making this . Dan Directions To implant friendly lactobacteria in the colon and heal damaged mucus membranes of the G.I. tract, you need to drink about 1 and 1/2 cup daily of cultured cabbage juice. Here is how to make it. Fill blender with chopped green cabbage and add distilled water until about 2/3 full. (Do not use well water or tap water). Beat at high speed in the blender for one minute. Pour mixture into bowl and repeat with two more batches. Cover with Seran wrap or similar material and let stand at room temperature. After 3 days, the cabbage juice solution is ready to use. Strain the mixture to separate the liquid from the pulp. Place the cultured cabbage juice in refrigerator. Drink 1/2 cup of this solution diluted with an equal part of water 2 or 3 times each day. When your supply gets low, make second batch just like the first one, except, add 1/2 cup of the juice from the first batch to the second batch. Your second batch will be ready just 24 hours. This process may be repeated indefinitely. Each serving contains several billion friendly lactobacteria. The lactic acid in the culture cabbage juice will purify the G.I. tract and kill most strains of fungi parasites and other pathogens. Guest guest
Hmmm...perhaps metals and contaminents affect the way the cabbage bacteria grows.... I know that is the case for sour dough bread. (changing the subject a little here...) Sour dough bread depends on the spores in the atmospere. Therefore, one can only make San Francisco Sourdough in San Francisco, because the atmospheric spores anyplace else will produce a different kind of dough. Just thought I would share a little amusing drivel.... ~inga on 2/7/05 7:52 PM, graftedin at graftedin wrote: Well, can't I boil the water first? - Dan <granadahills2002 Monday, February 07, 2005 6:12 AM Re: Probiotics by making Cultured Cabbage My guess is you want what is in the Cabbage Juice to grow not what is in your well water . , <graftedin@a...> wrote: > Hey I live in northern Idaho and we have excellent well water. Guest guest
Inga, I'm in Hayden Lake and it's been sunny and warm for two weeks....upper 40's to almost 60 degrees. This week is cooler...only upper 30's and lower 40's. We are lacking snow which is rather scary, but the ground hog saw his shadow, so winter may not be over yet ;-) Deon - Ingrid Mager-Renault Monday, February 07, 2005 9:22 PM Re: *Probiotics by making Cultured Cabbage I think because the bacteria in it will mess with the bacterial balance you are trying to achieve with the cabbage.Where in Idaho?I am 3 miles south of Naples....well...er.... right now I am down in the Sierras. Is it still darker than heck, drizzling and grey up there?I have loved being down here at the higher elevatons with lots of snow and lots of sun.....~inga===========on 2/5/05 10:17 PM, graftedin at graftedin wrote: Hey I live in northern Idaho and we have excellent well water.
