Guest guest
Has anyone ever used a neti pot, and what kind of results did you get? I’m thinking of buying one – does anyone have any suggestions? What kind of salt do you use, just regular table salt, or sea salt, or is there a special kind of “nose salt”? Guest guest
I haven't personally used one but Ive heard a lot of people say they work great, but I really dont think you dont need one. just stick your nose under the faucet and do the same thing. plug one side and let the water run up into your sinuses.I think it works pretty the same and is free. - Bruce Stordock Cc: carolminnick Saturday, February 12, 2005 11:17 AM Re: Neti Pot > Has anyone ever used a neti pot, and what kind of results did you get?It sure cleans out your nose and nasal passages. : -)> I'm> thinking of buying one - does anyone have any suggestions? Guest guest
Unless you have salt water of the correct salinity coming out of your bathroom faucets I wouldn't do that...Plain water would burn like heck. With the Neti pot you can control the tilt of your head, how much pressure and volume there is, and how the water enters and drains from the sinus passages. You don't want it to go into your ear or down your throat too much.
