War, Iraq, American Solderis deratory to innocent Iraq Citizens? A Flood of Mentally Ill Soldiers Coming Home From Iraq]

Dear Mr. Ma-Masakan and Members of Military Speak Out,

Do you have any information about American soldiers being trained to be derogatory to innocent Iraq citizens? I recieved an e-mail today that was allegedly written by the sister of a political dissident that reported that the women were being raped every night. Does anyone know if those reports are factual? I have also heard reports that over 100,000 innocent civilians have lost their lives since March 2003. That would certainly come under the definition of derogatory.I have not heard any reports about how many have been disfigured, disabled or orphaned.

I am having a hard time believing the soldiers are trained to be derogatory to the innocent Iraq citizens. This story needs to be researched further. Also war is war and yes killing for survival is hard on any normal human being. Most of these soldiers are drafted into this war and immunized against their will and yes this will affect them negatively big time. Look what happened to many of our Viet Nam veterans. Many of them are seriously ill and many are mentally disabled by that war also.

But then again, we know the NY Times has been soft onthe Bush team in its reporting about negative matters pertaining tothe Iraq and Afghan wars.Elaine Cassel and I wrote an article about this, "When the KillersCome Home," back when the war in Iraq started, because we knew whatkind of brutality our leaders were urging the military to train intoour soldiers. This brutal training, pushed especially by Wolfowitzand the generals under Rumsfeld at the Pentagon and in the field,went, and continues to go against, the decency most of our soldierswere taught in their churches and in their homes. This attitude oftreating Iraqis as "ragheads,satan's soldiers,worthless piecesof shit," and "the enemy, destroy them all," has made our soldiersinto animals on the kill--that's why they are killing so manyinnocent civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan.Another factor in this equation that no one in the major Americanmedia will touch, but the British journalists like Robert Fisk,Patrick and Alexander Cockburn, do speak about, is the Israelipresence and influence on American troops through their new influenceat the Rumsfeld Pentagon. Many ex-Israeli officers, Mossad, and SouthAfrican Israeli trained mercenaries are directing and trainingAmerican troops in "urban warfare," and torture methods. This Israeliposture on behavior is contrary to the best of American values ofdecency and humanity.An example of how our homecoming troops have been damaged can be seenin the case of Jeffrey Lucey who was so upset with his recollectionsof the war that he hanged himself shortly after returning from Iraq.Another case is Robert Brown" Robert E. Manyhave wondered what transformed Ms. England from a "down home girl"into the person she became in Iraq at Abu Ghraib.Also, we, as citizens, will be paying the financial bill for thesesoldiers and their mental disabilities for years, according topsychological experts in and out of the military.
