Dear Mr. Crow,

Thank you for your responsive dissenting opinion.

This is what our constitutional right to free speech is all about.

I appreciate that you are a long term member of the group and have developed

a reputation and I CERTAINLY agree with you regarding JAMA admitting in the

4/98 issue that medical care is the 4th leading cause of death and

disability in America especially after personally witnessing the

[premeditated iatrogenic Medicare funded genocide committed against my

Mother. If the group doesn't object to the solicitation for distribution of

products that have not been tested or been on the market very long, it's no

big deal to me. As far as my posting my initial opinion of your post, if you

are going to be a distributor, you might want to consider my impression when

planning your marketing strategy .

Regarding the analogy of comparing alternative therapies with the farcisal

charade of the FDA's alleged testing of drugs for safety before distributing

them into the food chain:

their failure to do so is no excuse to pattern ourselves after them.

If you have verifiable studies to support the efficacy of the product you

promote with the claim you profess of the benefit of consuming them, please

fax them to 404 231 2223.

As objectionable as the " testing " might be, what I usually do is ask

salespersons to forward to me a sample for muscle testing based on the

different organs for my " scientific study " .

It is one that the FDA would never approve and I myself am still quite

skeptical of after using it for over 20 years, but the results seem to be

repeatable and it's better than the guessing and prescribing and then

changing after watching the side effects that is practiced in medicine.

Thank you for this " debate " . While I certainly agree with you that

pharmaceutical companies' " scientific " methods are not to be admired, this

is also the argument not to emulate them for although their wares may or may

not be benificial and are often lifethreatening, at least they are covered

by insurance and are not expected to be covered with a 100% " copayment " as

are alternative health care opinions such as you have proposed. Here is my

address if you wish to send a sample:

I appreciate your candor Sandra.

I think we can agree that, according to a recent peer-reviewed

journal about 85% of medicine has never been passed by the standards

you hold out, and probably wouldn't, and epidemiological studies show

that properly prescribed medication is the third leading killer of

Americans.

However, equating those miserable failures with potential safety or

efficacy issues of a product you know nothing about at this point is

most unwise, and I think you'll agree with that too on re-reading

your post. All will be revealed in due course, and by the way the

formula has been used for years, just not marketed.

You may not realize it yet, but as a contributing member of the group

( hopefully a respected one :) I have the right to mention my belief

that the formulation is on to something good based on my own due

diligence. You can agree I'm sure that everyone is able to do

likewise, using their own frames of reference and cautions.

Although I am not a distributor for this product, I intnd to be, and

I think we can explore this together. Although you've shown only a

healthy skepticism, and that's fine, other M.D.s and chiropractors

who ar equally important have expressed curiosity. That's preferable

in my view, because even healthy skepticism based on no facts isn't

all that useful. In other words there was no need to write that, was

there?

Sorry Sandra, I don't send samples to US clients and this particular

corporation doesn't give away samples at all. Besides the logistics

of getting it to the mail and the cost involved I just won't go

through the hassle of mailing them from Canada; too much FDA

paperwork. However the product is cheap enough that anyone can afford

to buy a quart and there's a fulfillment center in Virginia.

I'll release my newspaper column on the energy nutrient on Wednesday,

and put the commercial link in the group's link area. Then I'll post

an advertisement to the list at the end of the month.

There are free samples available for other products though, that get

sent from the USA. I'll post those links as well.

regards,

Duncan Crow
