A survey reported in the July > 9 issue of The Journal of the American Medical Association found that > nearly one in three U.S. adults have hypertension. Of the estimated 58 > million affected, " Almost 30 percent were unaware of their illness, 42 > percent were not being treated, and at the time that their BP was > measured, 69 percent did not have their hypertension controlled! " Any kind of stressor including toxin load, emotional stress, malnutrition (e.g. potassium and magnesium and vitamin B), and electromagnetic radiation can increase blood pressure. Arteriosclerosis also increases blood pressure, caused by its toxin load component. Because all of these factors are both preventable and reversable, the fiasco dveloped solely because Big Pharma wants us to use drugs for what is exclusively a nutritional and detox issue even in the very old. Using drugs doesn't get one off the meds. Among the first things I do with elderly clients is get them off their blood pressure and their cholesterol medicationsby using the correct foods and detox. regards, Duncan Crow
