And a GREAT BIG THANKS to all of you who helped to do this! Senator Bennett's office was flooded with calls and e-mails, etc. And it looks as though all of us played a big part in getting that accomplished. So, pat yourselves on the back for this one, and know that many children are smiling down on you today for fighting this battle for them that they could no longer fight for themselves. Take note of the following statement in the article below: " Families of children who died after using antidepressants that heightened their suicidal thoughts and behaviors blamed Troy for siding with drug companies that minimized the risks. " And I absolutely love this comment by Sidney Wolfe: " I'm sure he's eager to return working for a law firm that does an even better job serving the companies he knows and loves so well. Guest guest
Points of attack at this time should and must be this. The FDA has a LONG history of approving poisons for human consumption. Additionally the 5 listed poisons are only the tip of the iceberg The " culture " at FDA is and has been for some time DANGEROUS and unresponsive to the American public and its desires. The FDA allows no rationally based redress. I sincerely doubt that Vit. E has been responsible for the HUGE number of strokes and heart-attacks that are linked to Vioxx I find it very curious that FDA wants to control vitamins, herbs and the like, claiming them to be dangerous, (without proof) when so many of its " approved " drugs are (proveably) murdering people left and right. This last point esppecially needs to be hammered home RIGHT NOW while the iron is hot. They gave us the ammo, LETS USE IT!! FDA has just recieved a body blow and is vulnerable. Now is not the time to end the round, ITS THE TIME TO END THE FIGHT!! NOW is the time to take on the FDA and FTC. I still think that class action suits with adhearents numbering in the millions should be brought against the FDA and FTC without delay. I'm tired of being ambushed!! The only hope of surviving an ambush is to attack the ambush. Now is that time. If your too wussy to do something about this, at least pass it on to sombody with the wherewithal and heuvos to see and sieze the opportunity.
