This is and has been a very serious issue which is a core illness responsible for many others, and like thge mercury amalgam issue, has been overlooked by Allopathic medicine. Considering that not diagnosing these issues is responsible for making the medical system large amounts of money (not costing them as you might have thought) we wonder if this is intentional. The real illness you describe is colon dysbiosis in gerneral, of which "Candida" and other fungal class pathogens contribute to said condition. I nearly died myself due to a severe case of colon illness, first a significant amount of mucoid plaque which "spoiled", and then once clearing that out, a terrible candida infestation. Fortunately my associates aand i developed a very effective protocol for restoring colon health. Your dietary suggestions are good ones, however without eliminating the candida, other pathogens, and old food residue, people generally experience little releif for a large effort, and relapse frequently. We use digestive enzymes, fiber, and probiotics plus certain herbs. Please let me know if you need more info. peacematt Hello, Matt. And thank you for your kind email. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. I was afraid of overwhelming the writer who was inquiring about how to treat yeast and knew if they read the links carefully, that all of your advice is contained therein. I was concerned that the individual is at the very beginning of the somewhat daunting learning curve that understanding candida presents, and the simplest start of following the dietary restrictions to begin with brings immediate relief from severe symptoms. I, too, have been practising the protocols and natural remedies you mentioned for months and am experiencing much relief from my most severe candida/irritable bowel symptoms. You've had a traumatic time of it. It's a good lesson to all of us that candida can become an insidious, covert killer. I'm so glad you're on the other side and can help others understand this complex pathogen. When will the medical establishment catch up? Peace to you, Beth
