Yes I have been using Melaleuca

products for over 3 years.

Please understand that I am NOT putting Melaleuca products down – I have never used them, but

have heard they are great cleaning products. What I don’t like about the company

is that you have to “join” at $29, and then give them $12 a year to

stay a member. (I don’t

belong to Sam’s or BJ’s either, for this

reason – I am happy to pay for what I buy, I just don’t like paying

someone for the “privilege” of shopping there.) Plus, the last time I looked into it, you

had to have a standing monthly order of at least $30 – David is this

still true? Does anyone use $30 a

month in cleaning products? Maybe

with a huge family you would, but I spend maybe $5-$8 a month for cleaning

stuff (there’s just the 2 of us to clean up after).

Hi carol,

I feel the same way as you do. I detest making corporations rich in order for us to shop for convenience. Costco does the same thing and they pay all their staff with our upfront fees and they are not even a North America company. Their headquarters are offshore.

Hi Linda,

I have to jump in with my two bits here too. I do not

like the control these corporations place on people

either. Instead of looking at them, I looked to see who

stands to benefit. It is the lawyers who write the laws

in the AG's offices across this country. Dig deeper. You

find they own stock in all those companies. I like to buy

what I want, when I want it, without the fees. I join

none of them. My own system of boycotting. I support

scientists who tell the truth. They offer something I

need in this world. Just my opinion. (I use about the

same amount of stuff Carol does, as I just have myself and

my mother).

Hi Carol and Linda,

It is still $29 to join and 35 product points to maintain a Preferred Customer. The $12 per year is for their monthly magazine. That comes up to a huge total amount of $1.00 per month, probably too much for anyone to handle I suppose.

If you're talking ONLY about cleaning products, then you probably don't need to spend that much per month. But they have close to 400 products for you to choose from (from patented vitamins, to weight loss products, to exclusive Nicole Miller skincare products, to pharmacy products www.melaleuca.com), so we always alternate on what we purchase. We, my wife and I, purchase over $100 every single month because we use them. As far as we're concerned, $ is not everything. Staying healthy is. Would you spend some extra $ to stay healthy or healthier? Or would you spend more $ to fix your health problems or diseases? Sometimes when you catch a disease, it's already too late.

Like I said, Melaleuca is NOT for everyone who wants to be healthy, just like Blue Green Solutions (Carol, I believe that's the company you're a distributor of, right?) is not for everyone. There are other alternatives out there if anyone care enough to do some research, but please just don't make Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble and other big companies benefit and let your children and family become sick because of their products. Did you know that some of J & J's products can also harm your children? Do some research and you'll find out more.

Regards,

David
