Guest guest
Thanks for reminding me that I have a consistent feeling that I've been poisoned every time I use Listerine Mouthwash. A few years ago I got into Tom's and even had some reactions to that. I really like this discussion to help us dicipline ourselves in our daily lives to make changes that can have profound effects on our health and net worth not having to spend money in our later years on health care that won't be necessary if we take care of it now. Why don't we all just protest being enslaved to the expense of toothpaste and mouthwash and eat celery every day after we eat a meal and just use baking soda? Tom's Toothpaste is ridulously expensive. Just think of the savings over a few decades. IT might be enough to take a weekend get away "vacation". - DitziSis Saturday, October 09, 2004 8:10 PM Re: Aspertame, Gum, TMJ, Dr. Lance's Writing Therapy Just a note...Watch your toothpaste for additives as well.I've used Tom's of Maine for some time now. http://pets.care2.com/ "The price of apathy towards public affairs is to be ruled by evil men." -- Plato "Providing health care to all Iraqis is sound policy. Guest guest
And you DO know that Listerine was initially developed for foot fungus. It's nice that the advertising agencies tell us all the things we "have" that need fixing. I have some wav's of the original radio ad's when advertising started. They are absolutley amazing! The first ad for a saop to stop B.O. And that's what it's called in the advertisement...B.O!!How the soap opera's got their name.....from soap ads. How the advertising industry invented "dish-pan hands"And what they are doing today with the ads for Rx is appalling!!I only watch television ocasionally. Turned mine off ad had the cable disconnected shortly after 9-11. But what I do see at a friends or at a business just amazes me. They so blatently invent new ills. And offer pills.I KNOW there are millions of us speaking out. Why aren't our voices heard?????? Guest guest
Listerine does really work on toenail fungus. I had broken my big toe in college, and after all these years, it is only attached by the lower half, so it is a breeding ground for fungus.. A dermatologist gave me a prescription to use on it -not the one you take orally (that makes me cringe just thinking about a pill you take for a long period just to cure a fungus under your nail) Anyway a friend say try Listerine. I did and it was gone. I use it every so often just for prevention.
