Could you please tell me:

#1. If all three amino acids, namely, tyrosine,

phenylalanine and tryptophan, be taken each day in

case of a mixed picture of the type of depression?

#2. The issue of " Empty stomach " : All the three amino

acids have to be taken empty stomach. If we also take

the thyroid supplement thyroxin, then that also has to

be taken empty stomach. In this regard:

(i) Will 15 minutes before breakfast or lunch or

dinner will do or it has to be 30 minutes before?

(ii) Tryptophan will be for evening and night, but

will thyroxin, tyrosine and phenylalanine compete

against each other for absorption if all these three

are taken say 15 minutes before breakfast? Or each of

these three have to be separated out from each other

by 15 or 30 minutes?

(iii) If something has to be taken after meals,

howmany hours should it be after the meals so as to

take it " empty stomach " ? Is it two hours or three?

Thanks in anticipation of answer.

Ratan.
