Hi, Fellas (mostly) -

 

You

mentioned "a riposte" in your e-mail. That has me wondering - were you

also the ones driving Charley and Frances, or was that Someone Else? In

other words, is Ivan in answer to Charley and Frances, or are all of

them combined the "riposte" you mentioned?

 

Nice

driving on Ivan, by the way. You kinda "threaded the needle", and

have been "telegraphing" your punch with a long, slow wind-up, if

indeed New Orleans is where Ivan's heading. That ample warning period

may save many, many lives, it appears. If that's the intent, I thank

you for it.

 

Most of

us - the "dwellers upon the land" who have been kept in the dark about

how the world's been being run - can't quite fathom the intent and

purposes behind the recent hurricane activity.

 

We can

make some guesses about Florida, I think - we believe there are some

friendly-to-we-the-people military facilities down there, on the one

hand; and some homes of the rich-and-famous/infamous on the other - but

still, we don't see most of the power plays that might have been going

on all along. Therefore, we can't fathom what purposes are being served

by it all, today.

 

And New

Orleans as a target is even more mysterious to most of us. "Mardi Gras"

is what we think of when that city's name comes up. I'd suppose there

could be a serious "power base" present there that has been kept

deliberately "low on the radar" all this time, expressly so Mardi Gras

_would_ be all we'd think of.

 

FYI:

I've been feeling waves of distraught emotion sweeping through me for

some time now, weeks at least - and I know there's no individual reason

for them; no event in my own immediate environment, that is the cause

of those feelings. I can't tell if it's an "adverse effect" of the

technologies involved in hurricane driving, or perhaps the "tremor in

The Force" coming from all the folks who have been in the hurricanes'

way.

 

This

part of Autumn has not been allowed to be peaceful for several years

now. I look forward to the day when it can be again.
