Guest guest
Having recieved the e-mail about aspartame being a great ant killer after a few weeks in debate with my maintenance man about my not wanting to be exposed to the carcinogen in ant sprays v. eliminating the ants, I picked up a few Sweet & Lows at lunch smirkingly enjoying the idea that the aspertame I'd finally realized should not be used for human consumption would ironically relieve me of being exposed to the carcinogen to eliminate the ants. Upon my return, this e-mail with the opposing opinion had arrived that aspertame was not an effective ant killer but that Spenda was. Tonight, those ants are going to get a nice treat spread out for them anyway and I'll report back on this "scientific" experiment of whether the aspartame is an effective antocide. The sweetener ingredient in Sweet'N Low is saccharin and is much safer for diabetics. It was a political ploy that outlawed saccharin to make way for the more profitable aspartame. Harvey - creativesources Sunday, September 19, 2004 9:41 PM Aspartame is a great ant killer Misty, Great aspartame information ... but I don't know about the suggestion/encouragement of stealing from a restaurant, or anywhere for that matter. Guest guest
Hi Sandra, Please read my post again. I did not say aspartame does not kill ants but I did say that there is no aspartame in Sweet 'N Low. Sweet 'N Low contains saccharin rather than aspartame. I have no idea whether or not saccharin kills ants. Harvey - DrLance ; DrLance Monday, September 20, 2004 1:05 PM Great ant killers?
