Yep, Yep, Yep, and Yep again !!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, isn’t that interesting, when just last year Kerry said he agreed with spending as much money as necessary on the war. That’s all he does, is waffle back and forth on EVERYTHING!!! Nobody has any idea where this guy stands – his whole campaign so far has been saying how bad Bush is, and nothing else. You’re gonna vote for a guy whose only platform is “Bush is Bad???

Kerry also took President Bush to task for the war

in Iraq

and the $200 billion the war and reconstruction efforts cost taxpayers.

What a peculiar interpretation of Kerry's position. Kerry has repeatedly made it clear, that he differs in virtually every way, with "how" Bush does things. What does Kerry's willingness to spend "as much money as is necessary" on a war, have to do with Bush's ineptness? Kerry is willing to spend money on a war that's conducted intelligently, not a war that's conducted idiotically.

"Nobody" has any idea where Kerry stands? Are you suggesting that Bush is the better candidate because he absolutely knows where he stands? Where did you get the idea, that a thoughtful assessment of the most complex issues facing the world, is a sign that someone doesn't have any firm grasp of things. Bush is the one that doesn't know where he stands, because Bush simply follows the ultra-right in this country, and you call it resoluteness. Genuine resolve is a product of a thoughtful investigation of the complex issues, so that what you finally decide is based on the facts, rather than the blind preconceptions of a small band of political fanatics. Taking a stand, doesn't mean you "know" why you're taking it. Bush is a half-wit.

How do you conclude from what you claim is "waffling" from Kerry, on the single war issue, that he waffles about everything? First of all, he's not waffling on Iraq. Kerry made the same mistake the other Dems in the Senate made with Bush's war plans: he trusted Bush. The country, once haveing absorbed the disaster of Bush being forced on us by the U. S. Supreme Court and Ralph Nader, was determined to give Bush the benefit of the doubt, and give him a chance to prove his "compassion" and his bi-partisanship. The Dems voted to support Bush in this spirit of trust. What was the outcome? Bush lied about every single promise he made, and went against every expectation that he'd behave in a responsible manner, not only on Iraq, but on everything he's done in every area. No President in our history, has deceived the American people as much as Bush has; and you come on this list to blame "Kerry" for Bush's greed and stupidity?

Yes, the most important reason we had for voting for any of the original Dem candidates was because Bush is such a miserable failure. Saying that the "Bush is Bad," doesn't mean that there aren't a thousand reasons for being against Bush, but you make it sound that way. You sound like you're saying that when the Dem candidate says that we should vote for him because "Bush is bad," that means that there aren't an endless number of "reasons why" Bush is bad. "Bush is bad," is a slogan; it's shorthand for all the countless reasons "why" Bush is Bad. Bush is Bad, because he's bad on the environment, on civil rights, on the economy, on international relations, on war prevention, on education, on Supreme Court nominations, on women's issues and "choice," on "separation of powers," and a truckload of other issues. Can't we say that we're voting for Kerry because "Bush is Bad?" Do we have to mention a thousand issues, each time we encourage people to vote for Kerry?

Take at a look at his politics. Kerry's whole agenda for being in office has many many similarities to Marxism. HMMM. yeah I'd really vote for a socialist government leader. NOT.

I studied alot about the rules and regs of communism and socialism and its scarry what we're willing to allow in office just because we don't like the other guy *Bush* . People wake up and read between the lines, I'm a former democrat and former because of the change in the way that party has changed policies. But I'll leave that up to everyone to see for themselves. Never take people's word for things, research things before you form an opinion. Its the smart way to choose the lesser of two evils.

Lynda

You hit the nail on the head with the two choices. I don't see that we have

much of a choice. Both of the candidates are actually sick comedy.

I can understand that muddle-headed people would have a difficult time

seeing the vast differences between Kerry and Bush.

Kerry differs from Bush the way a piece of glass, which has been cleverly

placed in a stunning setting, differs from a genuine diamond that is in a

modest setting. If you're all but intellectually blind, you'll notice no

difference.
