Guest guest
I looked into Melaleuca a short time ago, and there’s no way I could ever use 35 points worth of stuff a month. They just mail you stuff every month even if you don’t want it. You can’t buy just one or two things from them. Or maybe it’s different now. I’m sure there products are wonderful, but I’d end up with a garage full of stuff that I can’t use. What about “Safer” products, or “Sun and Earth” products – easy to get, right at the grocery store. Guest guest
Carol, I'm not David, and I didn't see the ad for Melaleuca, but let me reply to your note anyways..the 35 points is true, Mel wants everybody signed up as a " preferred customer " to get in those 35 points every month, and that is the agreement when somebody signs up as a " preferred customer " instead of a " direct " customer. Preferred customers pay the discounted prices, whereas direct customers pay list prices. The 35 points guarantees Mel a volume to offset their lower prices. Now then, the automatic shipments are for preferred customers who forget to place their monthly orders. The Automatic shipments are personalized, ie you pick the products and if you don't want to bother picking, they will assist you by providing lists to pick from that satisfy the point total, and you can change it an any time. The lists are there at sign up time. If a preferred customer does not want to receive a shipment (including automatic) for the month, all it takes is a phone call to Mel, and it is not shipped (nor charged of course). I've had to do that a couple of times and haven't seen anything resembling a penalty yet. But, do that three months in a row (I think), and Mel kicks you down to Direct status. As far as not being able to use the 35 points every month, we are a family of two and don't seem to have any problem at all with that. We just look at the Mel products as substitutes for what we were buying at the store every month....ie we buy MelaPower laundry soap instead of Tide, Diamond Brite instead of Cascade for the dishwasher, LemonBrite instead of Joy for the " sink " , etc. My point here is we are saving money every month over what we were purchasing at the store, and the products are so much better it ain't funny. I would hate to have to shift gears and revert back to the same " store products " we used to use. We had similar feelings about the 35 points at the beginning, but found that obstacle quite " over-comable " once we started using the stuff and saving money on top of that. One more thing, this is the only outfit I can find that makes a toothpaste without flouride (they do sell another toothpaste with flouride too). There may be some others still out there, but no stores within a 100 mile radius of me sells non-floridated toothpaste. I hope you look back into Mel. I just hate to see anybody missing out on this stuff. , " Carol Minnick " <carolminnick@a...> wrote: > I looked into Melaleuca a short time ago, and there's no way I could ever > use 35 points worth of stuff a month. Guest guest
Hi Carol, I'll email you offline because I don't think the group wants to see our individual posts.
