Case of Wrongful Child Removal Caught on Tape - Typifies NationwideTakeTheChildAndRun Mentality, Child Advocacy Group Says

In every other respect, it is typical of thousands of cases across theUnited States, according to Richard Wexler, executive director of theNational Coalition for Child Protection Reform.

"The ethos of most child protective services agencies can be boiled down toa single sentence: Take the child and run," Wexler said. "In this case,that's literally what happened.

"Based on nothing more than questionable drug tests suggesting the parentssmoked marijuana and the parents' own efforts to get help with maritalproblems, police kicked down the door and grabbed the child," Wexler said,citing a front-page story in today's editions of the Springfield, (Missouri)News-Leader.

"The only time this infant was in danger was when child protective servicesand the police decided to 'err on the side of the child' and tear him awayfrom his mother. First he was endangered when the door fell on the mother asshe was holding the child. And now he is in danger of lifelong emotionalharm because he was torn from his mother during the most important days ofhis life -- his first," Wexler said.

Wexler noted that two years earlier, in the same county, two- year-oldDominic James was taken from his birth parents. "That removal also wasunnecessary, and Dominic wound up dead, killed by his foster father.

"But this is not simply a rogue county and this kind of wrongful removal isnot an aberration," Wexler said. "On average, 827 children are torn fromtheir parents by U.S child welfare agencies every day. Sometimes, it's theright thing to do. Some children are truly in danger and really must beremoved from brutally abusive parents. But far more common are cases inwhich a family's poverty is confused with 'neglect.'

"Not only do such cases do enormous harm to the children needlessly taken,they overwhelm child welfare agencies, leaving them even less time to findchildren in real danger."

Wexler said a few model child welfare systems have "broken this cycle ofdestruction and despair. They have embraced safe, proven programs to keepfamilies together. Even as the number of children taken away has declined inthese communities, child safety has dramatically improved.

Even in the zoo they do not break the bond of mother and infant, knowing it will destroy both lives, yet every day hundreds of infants are removed from the breast, no crime at all by the mother, many only lost a child at some previous point in their lives and every future child is automatically taken, then the robot assessment list of "risk factors"..... it is vultures who do this, not humans, and they have to be stopped. NOW. We are dealing with women every day terrified that they know the state is going to take their baby and usually does ... no one can imagine the reality of this unless they have lived through it and survived it.

Not about lost children - more than 2,300 Ashcroft says go missing EVERY DAY in the USA..... no, it is about children who the state has intervened on and the parents have "reposessed" their stolen children ..... and right now federal money to the states was DOUBLED to increase the adoption of the stolen children to the open market for pedophiles and state child jails called child protection and foster homes.

 

One positive note is that this article was posted on the USNews page, that the media are finally starting to print the TRUTH about what these agencies are doing... that it has NOTHING to do with "child protection" at all, in fact the abusers are the state agents. In 99% of the seizures of children NO ONE COMMITTED A CRIME OR IS CHARGED WITH A CRIME....THEY CANT DO THAT... ITS AGAINST THE LAW......

 

We have to STOP them NOW, in their tracks, suing them and exposing them everywhere they are.... this originates in the legislatures and agencies and BAR associations writing their own rules and using them for court process, totally unconstitutional, total conflict of interest, bar agents in every office in a monopoly along with big corp and agencies and legislatures. These agencies must be shut down NOW, stolen children released, shredded families REUNITED.
