Guest guest
This is what Lloyd Peters, who is a Naturopathic Doctor, says about Crohn’s: Carol M The cause of Crohn's disease may be not be known to Western Medicine, but the true cause is clear to those in the Nature Cure community that have a different paradigm of dis-ease and healing. Crohns just never all of a sudden happens to someone. That is impossible. It is a degenerative state that is the result of a long continuum of digestive and bowel problems. The origin of those problems (and all named diseases) are in the violation of Natures Laws so aptly described as the 'lifestyle insults' in Russell Mariani's Journey to Better Nutrition (see http://tinyurl.com/pnwz ). These insults cause a morbidity or toxicity in the 'soil' of the body (blood, lymph, etc), which in turn causes an inflammatory state. The morbidity and inflammation cause the body to react to try and throw off the toxic state. This is called an acute condition (in this case it may be diarrhea or constipation) and Nature Cure doctors call it a healing crisis. If the healing crisis is suppressed (with drugs or certain herbs) or just ignored then the dis-eased state evolves into a chronic condition (we may call it Irritable Bowel Syndrome or Diverticulitis). If that is suppressed or ignored Crohn's disease can evolve. True healing takes place in the reverse order of the appearance of symptoms of the named disease. In other words, the symptoms of Crohns leave the body first, then the symptoms of the chronic state, then as the body gains strength the acute symptoms or healing crisis appear. No true healing of any named disease can take place without change or attention to those lifestyle insults. Probiotics, plant-based enzymes, and other whole-food supplements are absolutely essential and will accelerate the healing processes, but they will never cure the disease by themselves unless the Violation of Nature's Laws (lifestyle insults) are also changed.
