Guest guest
Hi All - Hope you can help me with kittycat problem. Dixie is well fed with nat'l pet food and loved but is in new environment [idaho desert/mts] and since developed a quarter-sized itchy spot that has been worn away of fur - presumably by his own licking. It's raw, but not infected looking. I know the vet will just give antibio ointment or something like it and a moon collar, but i wonder if CS or etc would work well. Thanks in advance for replies! cindy ps have been spraying h202 on it.
Guest guest
Hi Cindy - when my dog gets those hot spots I put Melaleuca oil on them. Not only do they heal up much faster than if left alone - but Allegra (my dog) does not like the taste - so it deters her from licking even more. Hope Dixie gets better soon! p.s. I get my Melaleuca oil through a catalog - but I've seen the oil in Health Food stores - I'm sure you could find it in a health food or natural tonic store.ragadugu <scarlettlafevre wrote: Hi All - Hope you can help me with kittycat problem.
