Hi,

Do you have gall stones? The traditional medical way of solving that problem is to cut your body open and remove the gall bladder. "After all" they say, "it's just a useless organ anyway." My problem with that kind of thinking is this: If it is really a useless organ, then why did God put it there in the first place? The truth is, the gall bladder serves an important function. (The same is true for tonsils and appendixes.) There is a much safer and simpler alternative for getting rid of gall stones than surgery. But first, let's look at some things that are important to understand concerning the gall bladder's functioning. All too often, people end up destroying their own bodies because they do not understand the seriousness of what they are doing. Remember, Hosea 4:6, which says, "My people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge . . ."

It all starts with the red blood cells. Red blood cells have a life expectancy of about 90 days. Once the red blood cells die, they are filtered out by the liver. At this point, the genius of God is seen as the great Recycler. The liver takes the red blood cells and converts them into "bile." (And you thought Greenpeace came up with recycling!) Bile is important in the digestive process. Bile breaks down fats, oils, and oil soluble vitamins such as A, D, E and K. These vitamins have important functions in the body, but will be of little use if they are not broken down.

When we eat food, it is broken down by "acid" in the stomach. After the food is released from the stomach into the small intestines, it is broken down through an "alkaline" process due to the bile. Both of these processes are imortant if we are to utilize the food we eat to nourish our bodies. The bile, which is created in the liver, is stored in the gall bladder. It could be said that the gall bladder is a storage tank that stores the bile as the liver makes it, and then secretes the bile when the stomach releases the food into the small intestines.

The liver is a vital organ. In the case of every disease, the liver is bad. God knew that we needed our livers so much that He made it so that it would grow back if part of it were cut out (except in the cases of bad diseases, which are caused by malnourishment and toxins). We run into problems when the liver produces a low quality bile. Due to malnourishment , toxins, etc., the liver will not produce good quality bile. The result is bile that is thick, like molasses on a winter's morning. The thick, sludgy bile then balls up in the gall bladder, and . . . you now have "gall stones."

A person who goes to the doctor and has their gall bladder removed due to gall stones will now face a problem they will have to deal with the rest of their lives. As I said before, the gall bladder secretes the stored bile into the small intestinal tract and the bile is mixed with the food the stomach has released. What happens when the gall bladder is removed is the body has no place to store the bile. The bile is continually dripping into the small intestinal tract from the liver. When the stomach releases the food into the small intestinal tract, there is no stored supply of bile to secrete into the small intestines to help digest the food. The result is poorly digested food which will not nourish the body as well as intended.

Rather than taking the traditional, medical way of thinking by only looking at the symptoms, let's consider how to avoid the problem and prevent it. As I said before, malnourishment and toxins will cause our livers to be sickly (as well as the rest of our bodies). Artificial flavors, colors and preservatives, artificial sweeteners, white flour, candy, carbonated beverages, Snapple, Taco Bell, etc., will not build a strong, healthy body. If this describes your lifestyle, then you deserve your gall stones and other problems that you will develop (if you have not developed them already). Ignorance is NOT bliss! Galatians 6:7 says, "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap." If you sow to yourself junk food, you will reap a sickly crop. It's that simple. On the other hand, this is also true if you sow to yourself nutritious foods, such as whole grain breads, raw honey or fructose instead of common table sugar, non-hydrogenated cooking oils, fresh juices (no sugar added), organic and vine-ripened fruits and vegetables, good quality supplements, etc. If this describes your lifestyle, then you will reap the benefits of good health.

The gall bladder cleanse is also a good way to help prevent problems, and in most cases, solve current gall bladder problems that people have developed due to a poor lifestyle of eating. The process is as follows:Begin with an apple juice fast. Start at 6:00 am by drinking 8 oz. of apple juice. Do this every half-hour to hour until 6:00 pm (12 hours). Freshly juiced organic apples is best. If you do not have access to a juicer, then get a good quality, non-filtered, unsweetened brand at your local health food store. Apple juice is high in malic acid, which will soften the stones. At 6:00 pm, stop drinking the juice. Wait one hour. At 7:00 pm, drink 4 oz. of good quality, organic olive oil and a 2 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice chaser. Some people have problems with drinking the olive oil. Putting a few drops of peppermint oil will help make it more palatable. Wait 15 minutes and repeat step 3. Go to bed. At about midnight, you will have to go to the bathroom, and guess what you will find in the toilet? More than likely you will see little green things ranging in size from pieces of sand to chicken eggs, commonly called "gall stones." This whole procedure should be repeated about one week later. Sometimes the gall stones will not come out the first time around. The actual cost of this cleanse is about $10.00. Compared to the cost of the "medical cure" of surgery, I'd say that's a pretty good deal!

In my opinion, everyone should do this cleanse at least once a year, especially people who have had their gall bladders removed. This is because a person who has had their gall bladder removed will have a low amount of bile added to the food they eat for reasons previously explained. They need the best quality bile they can produce, especially since they will not have a significant amount to add to the digestive process.

This cleanse is more accurately a "liver" cleanse. Even if you do not have gall stones, this is a good way to cleanse the liver. If the liver is functioning properly, it will produce a good quality bile and the gall bladder will also function properly. Some other things that are useful in nourishing the liver are vitamin B15, which is very important in metabolizing fat; lipotropic B vitamins, which help metabolize fat; a multiple enzyme containing lipase and bile; lipolytic enzymes; glyconutritionals, which increase cell-to-cell communication; and, of course, all around good nutrition. These are especially important for a person who has had their gall bladder removed.

Our health is our own personal responsibility. You are stuck with your body for the rest of your life, so take care of it!

To Your Health,

Ken Anderson

LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS -

NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE PEOPLE.Have nothing to do with the evil deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. Ephesians 5:11

"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." (Eph. 6:12).
