Guest guest
Hi Liz I found it funny because throughout my long life (60+) I have NEVER seen anything floating in bottled cider vinegar; certainly it does not happen here. The only thing that I have seen are herbs put into certain vinegars but not into cider vinegar. It must be an advertising ploy i.e. the 'signature' of that particular brand. By the way, my comments were NOT meant to be insulting. It gave me a big laugh for the rest of the day for which I am very grateful to you. We all need to have a good laugh; it certainly makes us feel better. Don't know why that would seem to be so funny to you. The brand name is BRAGG's. Liz S.C. > >
Guest guest
Marion, I think if it is a natural vinegar, then there will be “mother” in it. I make my own vinegar from pressed apples, and always end up with “mother”. Many brands probably strain it out because of it being unslightly. I use the pasteurized (cheap) for hair rinse, foot soak, body splash etc. but use the organic for internal use or serious cuts and scrapes.
