Guest guest
Detoxifying with Bloodstone Adding bloodstone to any detoxification routine is a good recommendation. Detoxification is a process that occurs within our bodies on a continual basis. When we drink a cup of coffee, have a cigarettes, drink alcohol or do recreational drugs these substances are transformed by the liver to a more harmless substance that can be excreted in the urine. With all the medications, refined foods, additives, alcohol, pesticides and other chemicals we are exposed to in the environment, our ability to adapt and detoxify can become overwhelmed. Vague symptoms that are often overlooked tend to be the results until more severe illness develops. Symptoms such as frequent colds, feeling sluggish and tired, allergies, poor skin, coated tongue, bad breath, headache, and feeling ill after eating fats and other foods may indicate an impairment in the body's functional ability without any extreme damage to the organs. Bloodstone ( " Heliotrope " ) Solid dark green, red flecks. Electromagnetic (high iron). Ancient Egypt, Atlantis used to calm, ground, revitalize. Classic for wealth, menstrual cramps, anemia, blood clots, hemorrhoids, birthing/reproductivity, imbalance. Cleansing heart and blood circulation, marrow, thymus, lungs; Heart. Found in the USSR and India. A deep green with flecks of red, often resembling drops of blood. Benefits the circulatory system. Helps purify toxic blood and detoxify the kidneys, liver, and spleen. Increases courage, helps in avoiding dangerous situations by soothing the mind. Benefits the bones, heart, and reproductive organs. Helps raise consciousness. If Bloodstone is used for a specific healing layout, it should be used by someone who has experience with the stone. Andrew Pacholyk, MS, L.Ac.
