Guest guest
I didnt mean to start a controversy with my comments about mlm and body balance, i am just very frustrated by all the advertising for products and trying to figure out how to help my daugher without spending a fortune. My daughter has been sick since she was 8 years old. She is now 23. She has thyroid (hypo), candida, fibromyalgia, and as a result depression. We have gone the road of traditional medicine which was disasterous as well as lots of other *stabs in the dark*. I am not looking for quick fixes or miracle cures. I am looking for solid information and simplicity. I get so lost in all of the posts about complicated methods of eating and taking of suppliments. At this point in her life she is just giving up because nothing seems to help long term. She is on armore thyroid, no glutten, little dairy products, b12 shots, nystatin (dr perscribed). She eats very little bc of no appitite. She sleeps about 12 hours a day and is still so tired she can hardly drag herself out of bed. She suffers from sever mygraine headaches (which i believe is liver disfunction). ITs hard to see a young girl who is like a 90 year old and who has never had a life. Guest guest
Peggy, The basis for all health is plant based digestive enzymes, probiotics, and whole foods – preferably organic and as raw as possible. Sometimes staying healthy does cost you a fortune, but what other option do you have? I guess I’d rather find something that works and pay for it, then to suffer with bad health. Guest guest
I don’t want to “advertise” another group on this list but if your interested in some “simple” solutions to a lot of seemingly complicated health problems please email me off list. There is a group that I belong to run by a naturopath who will send you a free lecture tape of his and give you a free 1 hour consult over the phone. On this list they are all about cleansing the toxins out of the body and allowing the body to heal naturally, without all the crazy supplements and crap. If your body is free of toxins and your eating what you should be eating then you don’t need a lot of supplements. Guest guest
Hi Peggy, > I didnt mean to start a controversy with my comments about mlm and > body balance, i am just very frustrated by all the advertising for > products and trying to figure out how to help my daugher without > spending a fortune. I am looking for > solid information and simplicity. Some of my fibromyalgia clients became pain-free in just days, others took weeks. Here's some data on fibromyalgia and growth hormone deficiency: http://members.shaw.ca/patriciagilbert/ If she responds to HGH shots she'll respond to SomaLife gHP. It should also increase her energy levels and just might help her thyroid to heal, and restore her mods to normal. Allopathic medicine does not use it, but anti-aging specialists use it all the time. Candida and other toxins can contribute to low energy levels. Why do you figure she has not been successful at reducing it? My clients do well on inulin, which increases the good bowel bacteria and controls bowel yeast better than probiotics do. Allopathic medicine does not use it. Nutrition is also something missed by allopathic medicine, but orthomolecular medicine uses it on depression all the time. Check out Dr. Hoffer's work on this subject. Also, I have seen testimonials about thyroid levels restoring on the Body Balance brochure, so I know nutrition can be an important factor. Has she done a series of liver flushes? They are easy and a dirt cheap way to detoxify. I recommend particularly because you suspect a liver problem, that she should be using cold-processed whey powder and selenium to increase her liver glutathione as well. > I get so lost in all of the posts > about complicated methods of eating and taking of suppliments. Peggy I've helped people who ARE 90, become more like 75, and people who are in their mid-seventies pass for 60. Nutrition, HGH increase and controlling infection isn't really an expensive way to regain the vibrant health she continues to miss every day without doing it. It just must be done, that's all. Has she tried these in combination? I have a feeling this combination will bring the results she's looking for. regards, Duncan Crow

If your body is free of toxins and your eating what you > should be eating then you don’t need a lot of supplements. > > Liz I think we do a lot of cleansing on most lists, Liz; this is a foundational aspect of restoring and maintaining health, and without checking the archives of this group I would bet that liver flushes, glutathione precursors and antioxidants at the very least have been discussed here too. What represents " crazy supplements and crap " to some people represents a life saver to others. I hope your comment is just a terminology problem. With respect, most people who practice self- health know that nutritional supplementation of some sort is not at all crazy, rather it is part of any health or anti-aging program and in fact you can't do a program without it. Without supplements we can expect to age gracefully and probably die at a ripe old age of 75-85. Who wants that? Practically all of my clients are expecting to live to be over 100; several are already about 90 and they are shooting for 115! Mind you, they aren't strictly speaking on " supplements " but rather " whole food extracts " and " amino acids " which land around the imaginary line between food and supplements, and do appear to some people to be supplements. regards, Duncan Crow
