I tried this product, and within 2 hours of doing so, I developed severe bloating, a horrible headache and shortness of breath. I know this could only have been caused by the 3 teaspoons of Splenda I had used in my coffee, as I hadn't eaten anything yet that morning, and my coffee was freshly ground and brewed. I do all I can to stay informed about these products and heed the warnings. One lady said yesterday to please stop sending because there is always something new to beware of. I guess I will just let her go on with keeping her head in the sand. She has grandchildren and I am about to become one for the first time in less than a month . This is so important. Now I heard-I think thru this site that teens are showing up with bone loss because of the amount of soda they drink. These people will have sooooooooo many problems in later life. Thanks for letting me vent. And again thank you for all this important info. I have 2 daughters in their late 20's - both with 1 son a piece. I have desperately tried to provide them with as much info as I can to help protect my Grandsons. They both completely ignore me. I just sent my oldest one the recent addition of Slimfast to the Aspartame lawsuit list. She told me yesterday - she deleted it. She drinks 3-4 cans of SF a day (weighs a whopping 115#s) She still drinks Diet Pop and consumes a lot of Flouride - so does her 2 yo. who is OF COURSE- up to date on all his shots - cause the Dr. said there is nothing to worry about and the LAW requires it. Perhaps they're correct in not worrying. A warning such as the sucralose (Splenda) one is not tempered with all of the information such as the fact that in order to promote ill effects, the half- starved test animals were given Splenda as a staple food, not in the few milligrams used to sweeten anything.
