Guest guest
Dear friends: Is there a substitute of milk that I can add into my tea? Black tea is supposed to give us oxalic acid stones. Milk dissolves them away. But I am allergic to milk casein. Don't ask me to give up tea please. Thanks in anticipation. Ratan. Friends. Fun. Guest guest
Thanks. But will the soya milk or rice milk dissolve the oxalic acid stones in the black tea? I wish to continue with tea because of its anti-oxidant property. But black tea gives us oxalic acid stones. Guest guest
Tea does not contain " oxalic acid stones " . Tea contains high levels of oxalic acid as do many items including soybeans, buckwheat, star fruit, black pepper, purslane, poppy seeds, rhubarb, spinach, plantains, cocoa and chocolate, ginger, almonds, cashews, garden sorrel, mustard greens, bell peppers, sweet potatoes, tomatillos, beets and beet greens, oats, pumpkin, cabbage, green beans, mango, eggplant, tomatoes, lentils, and parsnips. Whether your body turns oxalates or oxalic acid into stones depends upon numerous variables. Keeping your body properly hydrated is one of the simplest methods of avoiding kidney stones. Drinking milk does not prevent kidney stones. If you care about your body I can't imagine why you would ingest soy products or milk. --- psych doc <psych_58 wrote: > > Thanks. > But will the soya milk or rice milk dissolve the > oxalic acid stones in the black tea? > I wish to continue with tea because of its > anti-oxidant property.
