Important People I know

Hello everybody. I have been thinking about some really important people in my life (and yours too, even though you may never realize it personally). My daughter is active duty Air Force (a recent development, in spite of, or because of, the war.) She has very strong feelings about her country and freedom. Her husband is also active duty Air Force. He is in Saudi Arabia right now, right where the bombs were set off today, (April 21, 2004). He is part of the security forces mentioned in the news reel on the internet today. We thought he was safe in Saudi. Apparently, there is no safe place outside of our continental USA. And we are only safe here as long as we allow our "Commander and Chief" to keep us safe. I have another dear friend who is serving in active duty Army. Right now, he is in Tikrit, Iraq. Yes, he is in danger 24/7. It is his life, for the next ten months (he has already been there two months). I don't want to sound like I am campaigning in anyway. But, there are many people who have died for freedom around the world and over the ages. Today is no different, they are just fighting for someone else's freedom. Most of them are there because they volunteerily signed up. All I want us to do is start a prayer chain for all of our service men and women. They may be serving right here in this country or in Germany, Korea, Japan, Saudi, Turkey, England, Iceland and who knows where else. I know people serving or having served

in every one of the countries I mentioned. Certainly you must know a few more.

Place their name on the list and pass it around to all of your friends who are willing to pray for their safety and success as they fulfill their duty for their country and you. We would not be the strongest country in the world if we hadn't stood for freedom all those years ago. Let's stand and not forget those who are still standing for us.
