Guest guest
Hi Gina, If it says Calcium (lactose) then it is calcium derived (most likely) from cows milk. Why not try lemon egg and Dragon Snot for vitamins and minerals? Or yes, get them from good organic fruits and vegetables. The body doesn't process vitamins and minerals not derived from plant sources very well. Our bodies need organic vitamins and minerals. This means we need to get them from plants. Plants process these in a way that makes them very easy for our bodies to utilize. HTH, Don Quai Piscesangel7 wrote: Hello Everyone,My head is in a bit of a whirl right now. I recentlypurchased vitamins for him. They are liquid vitamin/mineralwhich contain less than 1 gram of sugar, dairy free, wheat free, etc etc. However I have noticed that when he takes these vitaminshe seems to act up. He took them on and off for a few daysand those days he took them he would have a rough day.Well this week I gave him these vitamins everyday and he hada rough week. My question: On the list of vitamins and mineralsthat it contains it states: Calcium (lactose). Could this bewhat is causing the outbreak? Thank you very much!Gina P.S. Guest guest
Hi Gina, I guess you'll have to experiment with different things to find out exactly what it is your son is reacting to. It could be another ingredient in it. Some liquid forms I have seen have sugar-substitutes in them which may cause the reactions. Whichever it would be, my suggestion would be to find something else you can give your son. Doc has a wonderful Total Nutrition formula in the files, which gives one all the nutritional supplement needed without any fillers or whatever - pure organic natural ingredients. I doubt there's anything in there which anyone could react to LOL. What are you using instead of dairy? My son is reacting to dairy products also (his body is) and so for years I used Soy products as a substitute. Recent information I got about Soy lead me to take my son off that also, as there were some counter indications to using Soy. And he's doing much better since then. I now use almond milk as an alternative which I make myself. love Lisa - Piscesangel7 herbal remedies Friday, January 10, 2003 11:34 PM [herbal remedies] Lactose/Milk/Dairy????
