Calcium (lactose) is calcium derived from milk which may be why your son is acting up is he has milk allergies.

By the way, how does your son do on real yoghurt with live bacteria? Many folks who do not do well on cow's milk find real good health improving benefits in cultured, fermented dairy products like yoghurt and buttermilk.

Re: Lactose/Milk/Dairy????

Hi Gina,

I guess you'll have to experiment with different things to find out exactly what it is your son is reacting to. It could be another ingredient in it. Some liquid forms I have seen have sugar-substitutes in them which may cause the reactions. Whichever it would be, my suggestion would be to find something else you can give your son.

Doc has a wonderful Total Nutrition formula in the files, which gives one all the nutritional supplement needed without any fillers or whatever - pure organic natural ingredients. I doubt there's anything in there which anyone could react to LOL.

What are you using instead of dairy?

My son is reacting to dairy products also (his body is) and so for years I used Soy products as a substitute. Recent information I got about Soy lead me to take my son off that also, as there were some counter indications to using Soy. And he's doing much better since then. I now use almond milk as an alternative which I make myself.

[herbal remedies] Lactose/Milk/Dairy????

Hello Everyone,

My head is in a bit of a whirl right now. LOL

I have taken my son off dairy products because he was

showing signs of ADHD in school. Doing this has helped

alot. He has really improved in school.

This week he has been having an off week. I recently

purchased vitamins for him. They are liquid vitamin/mineral

which contain less than 1 gram of sugar, dairy free, wheat free,

etc etc. However I have noticed that when he takes these vitamins

he seems to act up. He took them on and off for a few days

and those days he took them he would have a rough day.

Well this week I gave him these vitamins everyday and he had

a rough week. My question: On the list of vitamins and minerals

that it contains it states: Calcium (lactose). Could this be

what is causing the outbreak?

Thank you very much!

Gina

Hiya

Many people with uric acid issues find considerable help with dark sweet cherry juice and celery seed. That, in addition to changing the diet.
