Dear Dianne,

the caution with Sumphtum is to ensure that the bone is set correctly as the remedy knits the bones very fast. If this is the case, I don't see any reason why your mum can't use it.

I am no expert in natural healing. I did a very basic short course on homeopathy, and my teacher told us about this remedy. That's how I know.

Other than that, you'd be better off asking someone more knowledgeable and experienced than myself :-) Try Doc.

I don't know about the SAD diet, sorry.

love,

Lisa

p.s. I prefer to keep such communications on the list.

Homeopathic remedy Symphtum is used for fractures to help bones knit

Hi Lisa,I pulled this off the Herbal Remedies list and wanted to ask a couple of questions. Mymom is going in for surgery to rebreak and reset her leg. Is this something she couldtake while her leg is in the cast? What else would you recommend? Any help would beappreciated. As for her diet, she has the usual SAD diet but while I'm there helping herfor a week she won't! Blessings, dianne Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now.http://mailplus.

The SAD diet is the STandard American Diet, ie - high in refined foods, low

in veggies and whole grains. It's the diet that doesn't help your health

but is pretty much the North American standard.
