Debbie,

this is an answer Doc gave months ago from the files.... also note that some herbs do not do well with glycerine...

The reason I never use Glycerine is because it does not have very good catalytic qualities and therefore hinders absorbtion. Both alcohol and apple cider vinegar are excellent catalysts and get the biochemical properties of the herbs where they need to go FAST! Hope this helps ;o)

Love,

Doc

Dear Doc,

In your files on tinctures, you state that I can use alcohol or apple cider vinegar for some herbs, but you would not recommend glycerin. May I ask why? I

Thank-you Suzi. By the way - who are you? You seem to be giving most of the answers to most of the questions. Just wondering..... I appreciate all your posts.

Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. If you are pregnant, consult your physician before using any natural remedy. 3. The Constitution guarantees you the right to be your own physician and toprescribe for your own health.
