Should one do some sort of detox when they quit smoking?

What type would you recommend?

Would the bodies natural detoxing that occurs when you quit smoking

cause the body to heal itself slower?

I am thinking this might be happening with my dh, so thought I should

ask some questions. He stopped smoking 4 weeks ago. YA!!!!!

:)

I agree with Suzi, however I would take it further. Because smoking poisions

all of the body I would also suggest a good thorough total cleansing to go

along with the liver and bowel cleansing. But starting with the liver

cleanse will definitely help with withdrawals and getting the liver back to

functioning properly.

It is always easier to introduce a health program when one is doing a controlled detox and quitting smoking is no different. One of the reasons people smoke is to handle a nutritional deficiency of one form or another.
