Guest guest
You can oil his head with a mixture of Olive oil and tea tree EO. Put a plastic shower cap on while this is in his hair over night. Use a fine tooth comb, a nit comb if you have one. Be sure to wash the sheets, blankets, clothing with HOT water...adding some tea tree to the wash water wouldn't hurt either. If you are in doubt, you can do the same oiling to all of your famiy members hair, it won't hurt, it's actually good for the hair. That's all I have off the top of my head right now. I do have some remedies stored away on this...my puter went down this weekend and had to reformat, so I gotta dig up my written stuff. Guest guest
In th eLane county area the health department found that lice were getting immued to such pestcides as RId etc. They recommend mayonnaise and it is very effective. You just rub it throughly into the hair and scalp leave it on for a few hours and rinse off, The take a nit comb and comb out all the nits and eggs, Repeat in a few days. You must smother the lice. If one is sensitive to eggs try olive oil. but this is just apart of geting rid of the lice. Treat everyone in the family. Then you must take an iron and iron your mattresses and furniture..to kill the lice..get in evey corner. Do an place like the car etc. Wash and dry all lines, beddings etc in hot water and dry on hot heat. Do not forget your rugs. Take all stuffed [plush]toys etc put in a bag and freeze for two weeks to kill the lice. Same with combs, brushes etc. This is so much work and when my kids were little ,we had to do this several times. Lice thrive on a piece of hair and transfer so very easily. You cannot have eggs unless you have the lice. I am so very sorry you are having this problem. If you need more help just contact me. jo...God bless " sirona71 " wrote:
