WOW you are a busy momma ;-) Have you tried the BF & C formula and the Deep Tissure Repair Oil on the hubby's leg yet? The recipes are in the files. Your house sounds like just what and where my hubby and I dream to be some day. Janet - crawlerbunny <crawlerbunny herbal remedies Monday, December 30, 2002 11:59 AM [herbal remedies] My intro....... finally Thought it about time to put up my introduction. My name is Amanda and my DH is Dan. We have 5 kids, both boys and girls, ranging from the ages of 20 yrs- down to 10 ½ months. Yes, we have an interesting house full. lol! We are a natural living/parenting family. We do most all our healing at home with herbals and nutrition. I have been assisting at home births for over 8 years now. We also birth our own children at home. (Our last was a uc birth.) I am a homeschooling mom as well. I am planning to study more in the field of herbals and become an herbalist in the future. I have a good start already, and a LONG way to go! <G>My DH had been a long haul trucker until an accident last January 2002 that left him with a broken hip and thighbone in his right leg. He has been trying to heal this now for almost a year and has been told that trucking is no longer an option as employment in the future. He will be going back to school this fall to learn some new skills. He has been on an herbal regiment to heal his leg asap for the last few weeks, as the docs are trying to push surgery again because his leg wasn't healing in one area. (The next step was to put in a steel rod, and DH says "no way!") We feel that healing has happened, but getting the docs to run a CT scan or X-ray to prove the healing has occurred is becoming a huge challenge. The docs just want to cut-cut-cut. Makes us so angry, but we are determined to win. We are working at setting up a self-reliant organic farm and have a small start already. We grow most all our own foods and buy organic for the rest. (Thank goodness for local natural foods co-ops!) I also mill our own grains and cook our foods from scratch. We live in the northern edge of a national forest along with all the nature that graciously lets us share living space with them. It is really a beautiful place and very secluded. Good for the soul! I am learning new ways of doing things daily and loving it. My kids are really enjoying the changes and challenges of finding ways to eat healthier and living healthier.I look forward to learning more here and meeting all the new people.Blessings, AmandaFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1.
