Can someone give me a recipe for Black Walnut Tincture similar to Dr. Christophers? Do you use the outer hull (green part) or what part to make this?? Guest guest Posted December 30, 2002 Report Share Posted December 30, 2002 Here is how you make a tincture: three quarters of the jar is crammed or packed with the herbal matter then fill the jar up with your alcohol or acv whichever you are using.. put it somewhere where it's dark... cabinet, etc.. let it sit for several weeks till Full moon... then strain/press it thru a strainer, etc. leaveing the liquid, and you have a tincture.
