But make sure that is what you are getting. Not all health food stores carry it. I live by amish, and there stores have it.

This is the only thing they use. Cheap also. They also carry raw sugar. Best thing me and my wife did was to use that instead of that WHITE (sugar) crap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Basically, it's the burnt blood of a sugar cane. (sometimes I just have to

do it... sorry. :)

In other words, it's the boiled down juice squeezed from sugar cane.

Blackstrap is the 'leavings' at the end of the process.

If you go to http://www.mtnlaurel.com/Interviews/molasses.htm they have a

picture of a vat being stirred and if you read the story they tell how it's

made.

I still remember the mules turning the wheel that ground down the stalks and

the juice running into the vat and bubbling. Quite a nice smell to me. I

was about 9 years old at the time. They gave me a peeled back stalk of

sugar cane to eat. Boy was it sweet. Quite impressive to a 9 year old!

Know you know. :)

It is not a stupid question at all. Molasses is the juice from the sugar cane. See the link below and it is explained how they grow, harvest and reduce the juice to make it.

If your DMSO is cheap, you probably have the wrong kind that is stored in plastic. NEVER, EVER buy DMSO that has been bottled in plastic to use internally. DMSO will leech plastic out of any plastic container including the #1 clear recyclable plastic. If it is not USP Pharmaceutical Grade DMSO and stored in brown glass bottles, stay away from it like the plague. Remember, DMSO is probably the greatest carrier you can use. It will carry any herb (or greasy fuel oil for that matter) through any cell wall, including bone and eye tissue.
