Rosecea and Cayenne

I don't have a remedy for the rosacea, I'm sorry. But it was my

husband's experience that cayenne did not produce flareups of his

lifelong rosacea - he took something called " Quinn's blend " which had

150,000 heat units cayenne in it, daily, and the only issue he had

was a tiny bit of heartburn some days. He took this capsule for about

3 years with no ill effects. He was in his late 60's.

His occasional flareups of rosacea were usually caused by too much

sun exposure or too much stress. He also took Niacin for a bit after

his heart surgery, but had too much trouble with the flushing and

quit taking it. He used a cream prescribed by his doctor for the

flareups, but I don't know the name of it and personally don't think

it really helped.
