Guest guest
Hi, My husband and I are trying to conceive and I suffer from chronic UTIs. I had been taking uva ursi caps on a two week on/one week off schedule for a while and it worked beautifully. In light of the fact I want to have a baby combined with the high tannin content of uva ursi, I've decided to switch to pipsissewa. I've started to make a brew with pipsissewa and nettles, and the taste is putrid. Does anyone have any recommendations for an herb I can add that would help make it taste more pleasant? I don't mind bitter herbs at all, but this is pretty bad Thanks! Erica Mail Plus - Powerful. Affordable. Sign up now. http://mailplus. Guest guest
I also use Stevia to sweeten my herb teas. I also use it to sweeten the almond milk I use for my baby. Guest guest
>>>Erica, try stevia. It is a very sweet herb that is used as a sugar substitute. ---->Great idea, Janet! The reason I didn't think of that is because I was hoping to use an herb that has specific medicinal qualities and also happens to taste nice. Hmmm, guess that's stevia! Thanks!
