Guest guest
Concerning depression and anxiety, I have found that l-tyrosine (an amino acid) works well for me. I started it for depression but it works with the anxiety and Ive been able to slowly wean myself off my meds I also use a SAD light in the winter months ( Sept-March) as we have little sunshine here in Ohio. I cannot take some of the herbs due to liver problems. I've also added quite a few a docs formulas to my daily regimen and I'm sure they contribute a lot Total tonic, honey and vinegar (Tiger Piss) and lemon egg. You just have to experiemnt until you find one that works for you. Then wean yourself off the meds very slowly. Go to every other day for a while , then every third day, etc until you're off of them. Going off of them too rapidly might exascerbate your condition. Good luck, Karen
Guest guest
Thanks Karen. I will give l-tyrosine a go. I have read remarkable things about amino acids. Can they be taken with meds?
