--- Hello all,

 

My name is Melanie and I live in Australia. I am very excited about

being a part of this group.

 

My mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I have heard

that massaging lavender oil into the pulses can slow down the very

rapid energy of breast cancer. I am wondering if anybody has heard

of or even tried this and what was the outcome?

 

Also, I am currently going through a kind of detox, where I am using

personal care products and cleaning products that contain only

natural ingredients and are biodegradable. Also, I have discontinued

wearing make-up and I am weaning off my anti-depressant. This is a

big thing for me...I have resented being on them (it has been 3

years almost) and I really want to be free of them, but I don't want

to be sick again. I found St, John's Wort to be of no use to me and

have read negative things about it recently. I am curious about sam

e. Hopefully I won't need anything.

 

The weaning process makes me anxious and I am wondering what natural

remedies I can try to calm me down. I massage a combination if

essential oils into my skin morning and night. I also take flax seed

oil daily. I have heard valerien (spelling) is calming, but only of

it is not used too frequently as it then loses it's potency. Has

anybody tried this for anxiety? What else works for anxiety?

 

Any info would be greatly apprecited.
