Hello all,

I have finally decided to get serious about losing those excess pounds. I

was wondering if anybody knows about an exercise program that works.

Good for you, Shelby!

 

Exercise is an important component of weight control and it is great

you are ready to take this step to maximizing your health!

 

One thing I found in my journey of loosing 25 lbs is that exercise

is important but prehaps equally if not more important is decreasing

intake while exercising.

 

I have had alot of success with decreasing my intake with high

quality green tea. You may want to check the research on this but

there is lots of good research out there on the effects of green tea

on dieting- as well as improving general health. I cannot stess

enough though how important it is to get a quality brand of green

tea which you can probably find at a local oriental supply. Prehaps

you may spend about 10 US dollars for a large package of it but

drinking it about 4 times a day (dont take it at night) can help to

decrease appetitte. If you have a high quality brand you are most

likely to find a dramatic increase in energy at the same time.

 

Alot of people look to green tea pills for diet assistance- it

really is inferior though.

Shelby,

Yoga is good. I checked out a book at the library(the title was something like "20 Minute Yoga Workouts") and did the ones that felt good. I taped a yoga show on tv and bought some yoga cards(these were really handy) and then put my own workout together. I feel good(my body can do things it NEVER could do before-lol), I don't have back trouble anymore and my clothes are starting to hang on me.

Shelby, the only program that works for me is running. I can bike, skate, chase my little kids, but nothing works like running. Work up to it by walking every night.
