Pearl, thanks so much for sharing your recipes with us. I am especially fascinated with the Mayan Hot Chocolate and the Chili pepper in it. I am going to give it a try because it appeals to me. well, I will try most if not all of them, but that one really caught my eye. My mother who is 76 made an apple pie about a month ago from a recipe she has used all her life, so she knows it off by heart. Her eyesight isn't the best, even though she wears glasses. She reached in the cupboard for the cinnamon and poured it into the pie with her other ingredients. Baked it, and as she was tidying the kitchen discovered what she thought had been cinnamon, was actually Cayenne! Boy was she upset. My brother tried it and told her it was actually not bad, just to cut down a little on the Cayenne (she probably put in about a tablespoon) and she might have something new here! I guess there are more uses for that wonderful herb than I thought.
