Herbs for animals-Dry Winter Skin

Firstly, If your cat has dry skin do not bathe it.

I have never in forty years bathed a cat, unless if

got some oil or tar etc on its fur and it was never a pleasant

experience for either of us.

Anyway, for dry skin on a cat I would begin to supplement

the diet with some high quality fatty acids(oil). ie. fish oil,

and vitamin E added to food etc.

I would also change their diet. Dry skin in people and animals

is usually an internal problem that can be corrected by

changes in diet. If you still feed your cat commercial cat foods,

their are some that help with dry skin, but I can't remember

which ones. see links below.
