Guest guest
I knew there had to be one and I finally found it. I found a book called OLD PIONEER REMEDIES and in this book it was stated that Mullien is a good pain killer, and tonic for nerves. Also stated was that the " Indians " used it by smoking it. It also stated that it did not have the " poison " effect that other narcotics have. I tried it for my back pain which is at times severe. I have 28 degree scoliosis. I don't use any pain killers at all for it, which may account for my cantankerousness on this list (sorry). I have actually smoked the buds of mullien. I got it from my father's weed patch in his orchard. It does in fact give instant relief from pain and worn out nerves when smoked. But does not have the other narcotic effects that smoking other weeds has. The book said the native americans smoked the leaves. I hope those who were asking about this get this message.
