Before I really got into herbal treatments as a whole I transcribed a study on the uses and treatments of Garlic oil from the Wakunaga Industries. This was back in the mid 80's when I lived in California. I have used garlic cloves, oil, capsules for everything from fungal toenails to ear aches, infections, colds, blood pressure, general cooking, etc. I have also used it for various treatments for our farm animals...goats, dogs, horses, llamas, cows, chickens and so on. I must say I have never used it as a suppository but if I needed to get it into my system fast and nip a flu bug in the bud...that would be one of the best places to start :)

[herbal remedies] garlic clove

Hi, Suzi was telling me that doc Ian. recommended using a clove of garlic as a suppository when coming down with something. Has anyone besides her tried this, and does the garlic absorb, or what exactly happens to it? KatheFederal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Well, when I or my baby is coming down with something, I put about 4 drops of garlic juice in my ears. It normally knocks it out within a day.

Hey I'll admit it. I am not exactly sure how it worked on me though as I have not been sick in over 3 years but a little garlic now and then can't hurt can it? LOL I had to try it just to find out.
