Dear Nate,

Just when I thought I'd gone 3 months without having to write a new policy and that maybe I was done with ever having to do so again, you come outa the closet on list and acknowledge yourself as being "gay".

It's not as if I'd ever personally refuse you as a patient. I wouldn't, at least not on those grounds.

But, part of Naturopathy is morals, and an even greater part is Ethics, and no they're not the same. They are very different though intertwined. I'll get into this deeper in a few days when I have a chance to answer you in full.

I allow absolutely no discussion of Religious Dogma on list, so why in hell would you think I'd allow Sexual Dogma or preferrences to be discussed. The same goes for politics. This list has nothing to do with the Democrats, the Republicans or the Rhinoceros Party, and any debate in political ideology would also not be welcome.

I can't ban you, as I'd never ban anyone for slipping up once or twice over some religious concept that "just leaked" out, but neither can I let this go without comment and another new policy. Damn your hide for making extra work for me. As if I didn't have enough to do.

Please DO NOT respond to this post as the matter is not open to comment, discussion or debate. I'll be posting an answer and a new official list policy within the next couple of days to cover this.

I'd appreciate it, if no one else would comment on it either. It is completely OT (Off Topic).

Love,

Doc

[herbal remedies] HIV/AIDS "Myth"

Greetings all!I have been mostly a lurker with the occasional inputfor a few months now. I would like to know whatothers' opinions on HIV & AIDS are. My boyfriendcomes from an allopathic background and I analternative so we go round and round on the topic ofHIV/AIDS. Being gay, the topic crops up from time totime in our lives. I am a staunch believer in the"myth" theories and he holds true to the allopathicviews.I used to live in Portland, OR where there is a strongmovement for reevaluation of the current theoriesbehind HIV and AIDS. Now I live in Phoenix, AZ, theland of hicks and misinformation.I am including a link to Christine Maguire's web site"Alive and Well" for informational purposes only as myviews have been drastically altered by her book "Whatif everything you thought you knew about AIDS waswrong?" and movement. If you are unfamiliar withChristine you may remember her from a few years ago asthe woman that made national news for breast feedingher baby even though she was supposedly "HIV+".http://www.aliveandwell.orgPlease don't "Toast" me Doc :) I only include thelink for a reference point to open discussion.I look forward to everyone's input.Nate
