Guest guest
Hi Karen, I have several questions. Where at, exactly, on your back is this pain localized? What kind of diet are you on? I suspect your body is too acid. Re-alkalinizing your body, taking lots of cayenne and MSM will help you tremendously with your arthritis. Also use hot and cold therapy. Take a very hot bath followed by a cold one. Keep alternating. This will help with the pain very much. You can also use a cayenne poultice on your back (the hot spots of pain). Get some birch Essential Oil and mix 3-6 drops into 1 ounce of a massage oil and get someone to rub it into your back and massage it in. I would also suggest you doing a good liver cleanse and the total body cleanse as well. If you bring your body back in balance you should experience great relief. Don You can find lots of this information in the files and recipes that Doc has placed there. - Karen Smith herbal remedies Saturday, September 28, 2002 12:33 PM [herbal remedies] Help! Pain is back I've been taking msm for my arthrtis in spine (spinal stnosis and nerve root involvement) and it was helping. Dose at about 15,000 to 20,000 per day but all of a sudden the pain is back with a vengence. I dont remember doing anything to make it worse and the only thing I've changed is adding some Black Cohosh for hot flashes. I just went out and bought cayenne and I remember someone else said to use vinegar and honey. I'm at the end of my rope with this constant pain and have even had to take pain meds again. Guest guest
Hi Karen.. Ok, first off...foods that are bad for arthritis: chocolate, coffee, tea (except herbal), red meat, pork, root veggies, grapefruit, and lemon, refined grains and breads...Foods that you can eat: fish (unless of course you are vegetarian, lol), nuts, whole grains and whole grain breads, green veggies, fruits. A good Essential oil blend for arthritis: Juniper, Fennel, and Cypress. Mix these (equal parts) with epsom salts and sea salt (I prefer Celtic gray...NOT the grocery store bought stuff, that's just processed salt) Take hot baths with this for two weeks. The key to this here is detox. You may also make a rub with the same oils mixed with a good quality carrier oil. But the baths are the important part. After two weeks, you may begin to add different essential oils such as Lavender, Rosemary, Chamomile, Black Pepper and Eucalyptus. These will all help the pain and keep the inflammation at bay.
