Guest guest
Hi Cindy, This was my recommendation to Kim yesterday for almost the same condition. This is something that you should strongly consider for your daughter as well. Yeast can exist around the outside of the nose and mouth. As we respirate (breathe out)moisture also comes out. My suggestion would be to start using more fresh garlic, cayenne, take steam baths and most importantly, do a thorough body cleanse. Asthma is a condition where the bronchial tubes get plugged up with sticky mucus. It is a condition where the body is trying to cleanse itself. It is a response of the body to get rid of dirt, allergens, mucus, and whatever else. Cleansing the body, liver, bowels will do your asthma wonders. It will do more than all the meds you are taking for your asthma. This of course, is only my opinion. But definitely start taking cayenne and garlic and don't be skimpy on them either. Yeasts, such as Candida thrive in our blood. This is where they like to hide. Cleansing the blood and whole body will ensure your getting rid of them. Also, your body is too acid. This is why you get the infections. You need to rebalance or alkalinize your body. This means eating fruits and green leafy vegetables. Cut out the sugars, pastas, meats, sodas, coffee, teas, dairy, breads, etc. All these foods will make your body too acid and set you up for all sorts of diseases. You can cure yourself of asthma if you are willing to do the work. Everything you need is in the files that Doc has so graciously placed there. Good luck, your health belongs to you. My daughter has asthma and has developed a redding aroung the outside of her nose, in the folds along side the nostrils and also below the lower lip of her mouth, almost like a very very fine rash. My question, could Thrush live outside the mouth and nose. Could it possibly the same thing. I asked the doctor and he just perscribed a strong antibiotic ointment which is not working. My daughter uses her albuterol and intal inhalers twice daily, she is a chronic asthmatic. I hestitate to mix anything with her meds. She is 14. Garlic and Acidolphilus sound safe though...any thoughts?Cindy552Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2. Guest guest
Isn't this just like the medical profession to prescribe antibiotics for a viral or yeast infection. Geez, no wonder there are so many resistant bacteria out there. Antibiotics have absolutely no effect on virii or yeasts. Don - sirona71 herbal remedies Saturday, September 28, 2002 7:14 AM [herbal remedies] Re: More on Thrush Please Antibiotic Ointment?!?!?!?! Ummm..get a second opinion. Thrush is caused by yeast. Antibiotics aggravate the condition. I know that when I have a cold, and if my dr prescribes an antibiotic (provided I actually take it, lol) I have a tendency to get yeast infections. I need to be REALLY sick with no relief from any other sources to take an antibiotic.I'm not 100%...but to my knowledge, it can occur anywhere. All the yeast really needs is a good environment to thrive in. The moistness around the nose and mouth sounds like it would make a good home. Is she complaining about soreness in her mouth? That's where I get my problem when I use a steriod inhaler (Flovent). I've never had the problem with the albuterol inhaler, but that does not mean it can not be the culprit for your daughter.I'm not qualified to tell you what to do. Last night after reading the responses to my original post on thrush has prompted me to A) stop using my steriod inhaler (partially because I don't want to be afflicted with the mouth problems) and B) Take the advise of those here and treat the real underlying problem.I'm sorry I cannot be of much help here, but thought I needed to reply and lend support. I'm sure other more knowlegable people here will have good responses.Kimherbal remedies, "Cindy" <cindy552> wrote:> I was reading the posts on Thrush and was so surprised. Guest guest
Yes, fungal infections can and do take on skin surfaces. I am concerned about the inside of her nose as well. Is she experiencing itching, burning, and/or chronically runny nose? I knew a woman once who was about to have her nose removed by the allopaths she was seeing because they left an infection like this going for over a year till her sinuses were totally engulfed in yeast. The veterinarian I was working for at the time offered to swab her nose and told her to take the slide to another doctor. She came back in a week later and she looked completely different. (yes it was a doggy doctor! LOL!) Anyway, besides the garlic and acidolphilus, get some tea tree oil for the external rash, it does some amazing things for the skin and should kill any fungi. Also, Doc has some wonderful advice on file about how to control asthma ;-) Janet - Cindy herbal remedies Saturday, September 28, 2002 6:56 AM [herbal remedies] More on Thrush Please I was reading the posts on Thrush and was so surprised.
