Guest guest
Good advice from Doc below. I have also been trying to regenerate my L5 disk (among other regenerations . Changed my diet around completely, practice meditation (a big part is some kind of skilled relaxation), and low levels of exercise (walking and yoga). I have found that a food allergy to dairy contributed to my herniated disc. Of course the major factor was 15 years of serious volleyball (which I quit because of the disc injury). But what has recently become very clear to me is that the allergy results in muscle stiffness, which in turn results is how my spine aligns and functions, effecting damage to my disc. Even now after several years with no chronic pain, if I eat dairy on a daily basis, after a couple of weeks the disc pain returns. Recently I started playing volleyball again - so far so good. I use hydrotherapy right on the disc every morning when I wake up (that's when I feel the most stiffness and pain in the area) and I ice right after playing. I make my own total nutrition and eat it. I am convinced the nutrition is important for rebuilding as well. I also put arnica cream directly on the disc and surrounding muscles right before playing. According to Rudolph Breuss, St. John's Wort oil will help rebuild the disc as well. You need to have someone stretch the actual disc " open " manually and with care, then apply the St. John's Wort oil directly on the disc (ok, the skin!). I believe he said this usually worked for his patients in 3 applications... ?!? I have done that a few times as well. For the full technique you can find it in the book The Breuss Cancer Cure (the technique is kind of an aside). The deep tissue repair oil is the same approach. Now I'm off to capsulize the bf & c combination that I made out of excitement for learning but thought I had no use for it - DUH!! best to you thessa herbal remedies, " Donald Eitner " <eitner.d@m...> wrote: > Hey Victor, > > This is from the file archives #15820. Also excellent would be the Lemon Egg and Panther Piss formulae to help with the calcium loss and to help balance the acid/alkaline ratio respectively. These formulae can be found in the files. Good luck with it. > Love, > Doc > > Ian " Doc " Shillington N.D. > 505-772-5889 > Dr.IanShillington@G... > > - > Victor Valdez > herbal remedies > Friday, September 20, 2002 10:14 PM > [herbal remedies] Herniated Disc > > > Hi All: > Is there any non-surgical way to treat successfuly an herniated disc > condition and a related severe leg pain? > Victor > > > > >
Guest guest
P.S. there exists a very nice book with exercises specific to herniated disc called How to Deal with Back Pain and Rheumatiod Arthritis by F. Batmanghelidj that may help you as well. This is the same author of Your Bodies Many Cries for Water. Yes, stay well hydrated as well. herbal remedies, " thessakate " <thessabelcher@h...> wrote: > Good advice from Doc below. Guest guest
My daughter's dance teacher had this. After Provo therapy and another common one that I can't remember the name for she came across the book Pain Free, A Revolutionary Method for Stopping Chronic Pain by Pete Egoscue with Roger Gittines. She studied this and then attended his clinic in San Diego and she is doing fine now. The book has excercises you can do for different pains. Maybe you will find this useful. I got my copy of the book at amazon.com. Hope this helps.
