It takes a minimum of 24 hours to get rid of ALL Enzyme inhibitors when doing the entire sprouting process.

Re: [herbal remedies] Enzyme inhibitors Questions

Dear Maureen,

You should get Rita Romano's book as I suggested as it has all the sprouting times in it. The initial soak can be anywhere from 6 to 12 hours with up to 4 rinsings thereafter. It depends on the grain,or nut, or ...

If the nut is broken, it won't work as well as the integrity of the seed is broken. We're dealing with a live critter here ;o)

This will work with whole white rice (Basmati) and the regular stuff to some degree. Best is to get your grains "WHOLE"!

This also works with Flax, but Flax will swell up to about 5 times its normal size. I've never tried to dry it out again, so let me know what you find out on this one.

Love,
