Re: [herbal remedies] Digest Number 1569

Hello, My name is Caille and I am new to the list. I've been lurking for thelast couple weeks and wanted to introduce myself and share some of what Ipersonaly have used for different things.High Blood Pressure:I have had some serious probs with this. It ended up that my BP kept goingso high because I am naturally low-sodium...the more below normal my bloodsodium levels go, the higher the BP. I took:*1/2 t. Hawthorne berry solid extract (it's very dense, and a little thickerthan honey, and tastes kinda ikky depending on time of harvest) three timesa day*2 garlic caps three times a day*Cal/Mag supps 2x a day After about a week and a half my BP went from 225/170 to 135/82.Essential oil blend for relaxation when stress is causing tense muscles(works well diluted 1:20 with carrier oil and rubbed into sore muscles too).It clears your sinuses as well.In a clean small vial mix:*6 drops lavandin (you can use lavender, but I prefer the freshness oflavandin)*3 drops eucalyptus*3 drops clary sage*3 drops rosemary*1 drop cajeput*1 drop cassia barkPut no more than 3 drops at a time of this mix into the water in yourdiffuser. It's potent. This is a serious aromatherapy tool of mine, ifyou're just looking for something to smell pretty to help you relax, usesome lavender, rosewood, tangerine, melissa, or geranium. Just 3-6 drops*total* in your diffuser.Federal Law requires that we warn you of the following: 1. Natural methods can sometimes backfire. 2.
